Inquiry Term 2

Sky Diving

I woke up with an adrenalin rush and I thought I might puke. I can't believe it because I have been waiting ever since the third grade to go skydiving. It was the 23rd of June and I was heading to the airport feeling nervous.

When I got to the airport we had to put on heavy gear. Then I had to get weighed on a massive scale. I had butterflies in my stomach, I weighed 46 kilo's.

Then I had to get to get interviewed, I felt relaxed until we walked outside. I felt like a space man on the moon. As soon as I hopped into the plane I needed to go to the toilet but it was too late, we were already going too fast. I felt so sick, I almost threw up.

Suddenly we were in the sky, flying high. Then the instructor told me to get ready to jump. I was so scared I almost pooped my pants. Then I heard "3, 2,1" I froze with fear. "Go" shouted the instructor. I screamed like a little girl.

Next thing I knew I was 10,000 metres above the ground. We started doing flips. I was so scared because I thought the parachute might not pull, but it did. I thought my legs might break but we only landed with a little thud.

After I went sky diving we went back to a coffee store and drunk a nice hot chocolate.
